**A Pet Death Doula is a non-medical person trained to emotionally & educationally support pet parents and their families during their pet's last phase of life. Services can be done virtually via Zoom or in-person.**

Catnip party in the living room? Mid-day snuggle session? Four course dinner with all of their favs? The bucket list is a bunch of experiences your pet would want to have in their lifetime. We'll do a deep dive and curate the PERFECT bucket list for you and your companion to complete.
The end-of-life plan goes over the specifics of how you would like your pet's end-of-life journey to play out. We will discuss in detail what you would like to see happen during this time and go over the resources that are available - you may even discover options you didn't know you had for your pet.
Your pet's end-of-life plan will be typed in an easy to read format. A hard copy and an email version will be sent to you.
You can update at any time.
Euthanasia is the hardest decision to make as a pet parent. We will walk through the common questions like "When will I know when the right time will be?" or "What is the process like?" and brainstorm ideas on how to make the day th best it can be.
I am also available to accompany you if you need extra support during the appointment or act as a stand-in to be there for your pet if you simply just can't.
Private, onsite euthanasia is available at our pet loss center, Safe Haven Pet Loss Center.
Safe Haven Pet Loss Center is a safe space for pet parents to openly grieve the loss of their pet without judgement, so they can freely experience a heartfelt goodbye.
Our facility offers pet parents hard to find - but much needed - pet end-of-life resources such as a dedicated viewing room for funerals and memorial services with live streaming capabilities (modeled closely after human services), unique keepsake options, and an onsite grief library that includes children’s books.
The pain felt after pet loss is real and not everyone "gets it". As a certified Pet Loss & Grief Companion, I am here to walk beside you on your grief journey. I offer non-judgmental support during this difficult time. "mourning assignments" for reflection will be given.
Four - 1 hour sessions.
Safe Haven Pet Loss Support Group is a 5-week structured online support group for pet parents who have recently experience pet loss. The meetings are 90 minutes long and will meet once a week for 5 weeks. At the end of each meeting, “mourning work” will be assigned. Members will share and discuss findings and feelings derived from their mourning work during the next session.
Joining includes membership to Safe Haven’s private Facebook Group.
